Jarilo

I have been totally fascinated by the Green Man character of Jarilo since learning about Zeleni Jurai.  At http://www.paganroots.net/myth/slavic/item/jarilo, the author states: "He was a fairly typical life-death-rebirth deity, believed to be (re)born and killed every year.
